We collect information necessary to provide AI design renders, material estimations, and contractor connections.

• Identity & Contact Data: Name, email, phone number, and property address.

• Renovation & Visual Data: Photos of your property, design preferences, and budget goals.

• Payment Data: We use Stripe for payments. We do not store your full credit card details; these are handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device identifiers collected via cookies and Replit hosting logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• AI Processing: To generate visual renders and material cost estimates using machine learning models.

• Subscription Management: To manage your account, credit balance, and billing via Stripe.

• Lead Generation: If you opt-in, to compile a "Lead Package" for third-party contractors.

• Platform Improvement: We may use anonymized versions of uploaded photos to fine-tune our AI models and improve design accuracy.

3. Automated Decision-Making (ADM) Transparency

In accordance with the 2026 Privacy Act updates, we disclose that our cost estimates and design renders are produced via Automated Decision-Making.

• Our algorithms analyze your photos to predict material types and quantities.

• You have the right to request information on the logic used to reach an estimate if it significantly affects your project planning.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information

• Contractors: By requesting a quote, you expressly consent to us sharing your Lead Package (name, contact details, and photos) with licensed contractors. Once shared, that data is subject to the contractor’s own privacy practices.

• Service Providers: We share data with essential third-party tools, including Replicate (AI processing), Stripe(Payments), Postmark (Email delivery), and Replit (Hosting).

• Cross-Border Disclosure: Some service providers are located overseas (primarily the USA). We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers adhere to privacy standards equivalent to the APPs.

5. Storage and Security

We hold your information electronically using industry-standard encryption.

• Data Retention: We retain your photos and project data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we may retain anonymized visual data for AI training purposes unless you specifically request its destruction.

• Security Disclaimer: While we use secure servers (SSL/TLS), no internet transmission is 100% secure. You provide information at your own risk.

6. Marketing and Opt-Out

• Direct Marketing: We may send you updates about your designs or new platform features.

• Contractor Marketing: Contractors who purchase your lead may contact you directly.

• Unsubscribe: You can opt-out of our marketing at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link in our Postmark emails. To stop communications from a contractor, you must contact them directly.

7. Access, Correction, and Deletion

Under the APPs, you have the right to:

1. Access the personal information we hold about you.

2. Request correction of inaccurate data.

3. Request Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and personal data, subject to our legal obligations (e.g., financial record keeping for GST).
